Asin HD Wallpapers: Asin Thottumkal was born on 26 October 1985. She is popularly known as Asin. She is an Indian actress. She started acting in the South Indian film industry. However, now she appears mostly in Bollywood films. She has good command in eight languages. She is the only actress who is Malayali, other than the famous actress of the Indian industry Padmini. Asin is crowned with the title “Queen of Kollywood”. Since Asin made her acting debut with Sathyan Anthikkad’s Malayalam film Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka (2001). Asin received her first commercial success with the Telugu film Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi in 2003. The actress won Filmfare Best Telugu Actress Award for the same film. The actress performed the role of female protagonist in many of her successful films. In the year 2013, Asin was honoured with Pride of South Indian Cinema award. In 2008, Asin did her debut in the Bollywood film Ghajini (2008). In the movie she was casted opposite superstar Aamir Khan. The movie was the first Bollywood film to have collected more than ₹1 billion in the domestic box office. For the movie, Asin won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and many accolades for Ghajini. She also gave the rom-com film Ready opposite the Salman Khan which became another commercial success for the actress. Asin has also starred in Housefull 2, Bol Bachchan and Khiladi 786 all of them did more than 1 billion of business worldwide. The upcoming movie of the actress is “All Is Well” opposite Abhishek Bachchan
